Great teacher. Lectures are well paced and keep you on your toes so you don't get bored, but isn't difficult. Tests are fine as long as you study. She keeps lectures interesting. I would recommend having her for this class.

The class was very straight forward. Lectures/notes could get a little confusing, but still understandable. She was always open to answering any questions too. She always would make sarcastic remarks to be funny.

Disrespectful toward students, difficult style of pedagogy, and overall negative experience. Teaching assistant for this course was unqualified, professor is unwilling or unable to offer help on topics in computer science related to numerical analysis

Lots of homework is assigned. Sometimes even double the work because of the online homework and the written work. Quizes every friday with the lowest grade dropped. Moves fairly fast through the material.

Slow, but amusing lecturer. Doesn't teach concepts, just formulas, but she understands the concepts. A lot of straightforward homework that has every problem graded. A class for those with a bad math background

Prof. Weekes was amazing. Lectures seemed to fly by, but I still felt like I was learning a lot. Would definitely love to have her again. She was funny and interacted with students in a way that spoke "friend" opposed to "pupil".

Not really helpful and not good at teaching the material. Turned a fun class into a really bad one. Learned more online then I learned from her lectures/ assigned textbook.

This class was great! Prof. Weekes is very pleasant, and her explanations were clear. The only downsides were the massive amounts of homework and the constant class participation. But besides those, I would recommend taking this class!

Bad Explanations. Painful Homeworks. This course is for pure math student not for an applied math student. I first look forward to the course as an operation research major but not after I took the class with her.

A very pleasant professor. It was a fun class too, with her cracking a joke sometimes. The material she covered was interesting too. The only downside was how she handled the last few topics, specifically 2 person games. She went by that topic too quickly, but besides that she covers the course well.

Very good professor, she knows the material very well. Go to class, and to her office hours. Weekly homework and quizzes could be a pain, but help a bit to digest all the material. She is harder than other profs but you'll also learn more in here class.

Great professor. Very engaging, answered questions well, good examples, simple homework. Watch out for spring and mass systems. She doesn't like them and thus does an iffy job teaching them. Overall I highly recommend her.

She helped make the class very engaging. Prof. Weekes is super passionate about teaching. she always had a clear flow for the lesson. Thorough knowledge of concepts from Calc 1 and 2 are expected. Quizzes are easy and help reinforce homework. Tests are difficult but manageable if you put in the preparation work.

Probably one of the best professors I've had. She clearly explains everything does numerous examples that all apply to her quizzes. Her quizzes are sometimes hard, and so are her tests, but she gives plenty of time to finish them. Extremely helpful in office hours.

She: clearly teaches each step of the problem, pauses after teaching a new concept to let you process the information, knows you, cares how you are doing/if you're learning, encourages questions, doesn't put people on the spot, gives a lot of homework out of the book, webwork, and a quiz each week-but it is to your benefit. Learn, work, take her.

Comment:
She really knows what she is talking about, but has a tendency to leave example problems unfinished. When she comes into class, she expects a hearty "Good Morning!" and is angry if she doesn't get it. She also has a tendency to call on people to answer questions on the board who are madly scribbling notes and trying to catch up.
