Horrible Teacher. Really did not explain much and relied on the TA's to teach the class. Taught us the bare minimum then expected us to create something by ourselves. Expected us to code even when we had no coding experience at all. Take another intro Engineering class!

Comment:

Professor Soules does not do much as the teacher of this class. In the Introduction to Computer Engineering 112 Lab, he merely stands at the front of the class, leads the name game (every class), gives a short lesson on a new piece of equipment we will be using in the lab, then sends us on our own to build a circuit. The TAs are very helpful.

The lab course is relatively straightforward. There was little to no interaction with the professor, as was expected. You basically sit there with your "Make: Electronics" book and go through the various hands-on projects. As long as your final project at the end does what it's supposed to do, you will receive an A for the lab.
