He never communicated with us online students, he seems nice, but he's not really much of a "professor". The work is easy though, and if you read the powerpoints he gives us, you'll pass the tests. It's just 7 HW, and midterm and final. All online. I would take him online rather than to sit in a class.

This guy does nothing for his online students. I have emailed about several things and his responses always referred to the book. Some of the homework answers were wrong according to the book and I flagged them; nothing was ever done.

Do you like having no idea what you're learning, having a massive workload, not understanding how things are graded, watching half the people in the class bail because it's so hard? He seems like a nice guy, but he goes straight from the Powerpoints and offers no clarity. I got an A in the class and it still almost made me crazy. Don't do it.

Do not take this class online. There is no communication at all from this man. He does not understand how his online course works. I asked him several question and never got a response. He gives 7 HW assignment's that you get no credit for and a midterm and final that's very hard, each cover 7 chapters with 100 questions and you only have 90min.

If you can avoid taking a class with him for your own sake please do. He has a thick accent & is barely understandable. Reads directly off of the PowerPoint. He breezes through material, he does not stop & ask does anyone have any questions. He is not familiar with the material so he cannot help you. Just a horrible, horrible teacher.

Comment:
The professor is understandable and does help students during class assignments. The textbook is a must in the class, as all the teaching is done straight from it. The homework is not confusing, and you get extra credit for doing it. If any criticism, it might be the easiness (like getting extra credits or class assignments) of the class.

Professor Mansour is so boring. His accent is heavy so you can barely understand what he is saying. All he does is read slides and the slides are right out of the book so I don't even understand the point of them. His routine is the same 4 classes of slides, pretest, then test. Boring! Ended up getting a C which is bad because Im used to As

You'll most likely pass the class because his tests are so hard he ends up curving it completely and makes the final a "bonus" in case you want to drop a low score. Can't ever understand him in class and he doesn't explain anything in his own wordsâ€"just follow the presentation which doesn't help. I passed the class but didn't learn anything.

All he does is read from slides and does not apply any of his knowledge of the field. I learn more reading from the book. On top of that he does not understand that students do their best to make it to class, but if work comes up, I will need to leave or miss class. The man doesn't know how to teach. He talks and does not explain.

Reads notes straight from slides, same stuff that's in the book. Takes attendance once every 2 weeks. The class was nap central. Only way I learned the material was from the online material. Worst class ever.

difficult to understand + a lot of slides....= good nap time. not entirely interested in individual learning or growth and not invested in his students well-being at all. one positive thing is that he offers plenty of extra credit.

Philosophy is a worthless subject, but this teacher is an example of self-inflated ego gone wild. He has no desire to help you with the class, or understanding.
