the course work is very easy if you know what to do. If you do not know what to do liek myself, get outside help. I wasnt that great at writing papers, so i asked him what he was lookign for in a paper, his only response is "thesis" which doesnt help because he cant explaint to you how to develope the type of thesis that he is looking for

Tai is an awesome teacher. He explains everything in a way that you can understand and is always there for help. If you can't talk to him in person he always responds to e-mails and really gives helpful feedback. As long as you read the text and have him critique your essays than you will do fine.

Hard grader but helpful teacher. If you give him a crappy paper he will give you a crappy grade. Take your time and understand what is looking for in your paper and you should be fine. Alot of writing in this class and theres a group presentation evualation as well. Lots of work in this class...cant be lazy in his class. Nice teacher.

Mr. Houser's Marxist approach to the classroom allows the students to benefit off each other just as much as the instructor. His grading system is fair, and you will only get out what you put in. If you are willing to learn and improve your writing, he will give you the guidance to achieve your goals. Great lessons on power structures and fear.

Tai is a great teacher who genuinely loves what he teaches and wants his students to, as well. He is an extremely harsh grader, but he is always willing to help you improve your paper if you take the time to seek his help. You'll either entirely love him or absolutely hate him. You'll DEFINATELY be interested in class either way though. He's pretty clever and throws some intelligent humor into the mix. Brash and outspoken, he somehow makes his students all engage in discussion. Not a quiet class. To be fair, he starts off the semester as a rough grader.

HOUSER is a very good professor. The discussions classes have about the readings are essential to critical thinking reagrding one's papers ... and he does that very well.
