Mrs. Loaiza is super energetic and engaging. I had a small leg up with my Spanish ability when I started the class (or so I thought). Learning proper Spanish showed me just how much I didn't understand, but Prof. Loaiza made the learning process easy and fun. She also worked with me outside of class to make up assignments. Lots of online homework

Great prof and pretty easy class! I took it online... lots of online assignments but the material isnt difficult. Tests are mostly like the reviews, and there are three Spanish chats you have with her via skype. I forgot to schedule one of my chats, and she let me make it up! She responded to all of my emails and answered all of my questions too!

Such an awesome professor! I took her for Span I and II, wish I could take her for III and IV! She teaches with energy and passion and actually helps you learn the language versus just learning the book. She is super fair and always willing to help. I wish all professors were this knowledgeable and knew how to present material so thoroughly.

Best teacher I had at ACC. She knows what she is teaching, but she also knows how to teach, a rare thing at ACC. She explains the class' subject, do exercises, written then oral, the following class she starts by reviewing what was presented in the previous class. The has good work ethics and you can see how she treats all students with respect.

Prof Loaiza is excellent! I took her for Spanish I & II. This is my first time taking a Spanish class and she is the best. She explains everything thoroughly, she will go over material as many times as needed until students understand. She gives you a review before the test, and much of the test is similar to the review. Highly recommended!

This was an online class and you have to keep up with the program online which gives you the dates and what is due on that particular day. I am a spanish speaker so I whizzed thru it. Assignments have 12-15 short assignments to do. You can work ahead if you figure out how to use the program.

She's a great professor, go to class pay attention and do the work and you'll be fine. She doesn't like slackers but if you put forth effort there's no reason you should fail. Definitely one of my favorite professors.

I took her SPAN 1511 and 1512 courses online and I would recommend it! You know exactly what to expect each week, and she gives study guides before each test that are almost EXACTLY like the test. SHE IS AN EASY GRADER!!! Looking for an easy class? Take her. However, she is a SLOW grader, and is very very bad at responding to emails.

STAY AWAY FROM HER ONLINE COURSE! She only gives you TWO days to go to the testing center for each test. Most DL classes give you a week or more. And she was even late making one test available. She takes off points if you use vocabulary past what's in the textbook. She's very rude via email. Classmates video chat, and no one was happy with her.

She is by far the worst Spanish professor I have ever taken. She thinks she knows her stuff but she does not, and trust me you will regret taking her class. Try to take Becky Jaimes instead.

She is a good professor, but she is not from here, so she does things thinking that she was still in Ecuador. For example, she told the whole class to complete all the WebSam assignments, which were about 60 each chapter. That's not feasible with many people who work full time or study full time.

Prof Loaiza is amazing. she made learning a language fun and EASY. Attendence is mandatory, she gives a study review before each test. I only studied the review usually the day before the test and I was still able to make an A. Practice often and you will do well.

She really enjoys teaching this course. She is more than willing to answer your questions until you understand. Her tests and quizzes to be straight forward. Attending class every day and completing your homework is key to be successful. A lot of participation in class helps you to master the language. I was a beginner and I did fine. Take her!

Great professor, wants you to succeed and will help you. She is very nice and fun. She gives you all needed information, but you really need to attend class. Lots of quizzes, but throws out lowest scores, so plenty of chances to do well. Do the workbook, attend class, and get help if you're confused and this class should be no problem.

SHE'S AWESOME!! IF you actually wanna learn spanish you def wanna take her! learning a foreign language requires WORK! but she's extremely helpful and you won't find a better spanish prof! she presents the verb conjugations in a way that facilitates memorization. she goes out of her way to make herself available to students. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
