Professor B knows what she is doing. She gives out a lot of reading, but it is reading that will suck you in and will not take that long to read. Her classes are heavily discussion-based, allowing students to express their opinions with the other students reacting to the first student's words. Dr. B changed my life, her creativity is amazing.

Dr. B changed my life. She is by far the most intelligent professor at DePauw and everyone should take her class! DO NOT MISS OUT! Her expectations are reasonable and she is willing to help at every step of the way. Her readings are interesting, be prepared to be challenged in a good way. You will be a better student after her class.

Dr. B is very clear on what she wants, which is nice, but she is a VERY tough and unfair grader in my opinion. I am not the world's best writer and I got C's on almost every paper. I thought that I was taking an Education course, but it turned out to be more like a Womens Studies class. I do not recommend her.

Dr. B is awful. She's very subjective, and she decides from the very beginning who she likes and does not like. If you are a minority, or willing to say you're oppressed by men, you will do well in this class. However, if disagree with her views and stand up for your own opinions, prepare to get a bad grade.

Smart, passionate. Class discussions sometimes get boring or too abstract, but are usually interesting. The reading assignments are a mixed bag; some are fascinating, others are tedious. Projects and assignments tend to be interesting. Overall I highly recommend her for her creativity, friendliness, and good teaching skills!
