Professor Jhashi is a wonderful teacher. It is true she is demanding and her exams are coprehensive, but what are you in college for, if not to learn? Quit whining and study for the exams!!

I agree RUN AWAY! She is so boring and wastes so much time talking to her favorites that she only covers 1/2 the material. she loves modern art. Its all she talks about. I wasn't allowed to write my term paper on early russian architecture EVEN THOUGH SHE PUT IT ON THE SYLLABUS AS AN OPTION! Exams are like torture. 6 ESSAYS + 10 SHORT ANSWER!

20th century art is my favorite period of art, and while I did extremely well in her class, she made what could have been a really awesome class a complete drag. Honestly, with her provost position, I think it's time for her to stop teaching, I don't think her heart is in it anymore. This class also has more writing than a writing intensive course.

Holy cow! This class is the hardest, most ridiculously useless class I have ever taken. I can't below people below are saying all these nice things. TMJ is a terrible professor. I worked my butt off just to get a 3.0. Honestly, it's not worth it... I've never worked that hard before to get the lowest grade I have ever received at OU! RUN AWAY!

She is really nice and really knows her stuff. The class was really interesting. We had a bunch of losers in the class who slept or didn't bother to show up. If there is a bad review on this lady it's not her fault--people are lazy and don't want to work. Get a clue people!

Professer Machmut-Jhasi is far from boring she works hard to engage her students. Some classes have a few dead heads - this one had many! Get a clue folks & join in! She cares about art, knows an exceptional amount on the topic, & enjoys teaching. If you show up, are even half conscious, & take notes it is easy to pull a 3.5 or better.

TMJ is a very nice person, but she is one the the hardest teachers I have ever had at OU. Do yourself a favor and avoid this class. I am sure there are much easier gen ed classes. If you choose not to take this advice enjoy the 0.00-1.00 that you will get on her first exam!

Prof.TMJ is a wonderful teacher. She is by no means easy & expects you to work hard,she does the same. She will challenge,teach, & prepare you for upper level classes & graduate school.
