Tanya is great, she teaches a lot of hard subjects so people might think she is tough, but she isn't she is just very detailed and wants to get in as much as she can. Focus on the power points because all exams come from them and start on the study guides early! Talk to her if you are struggling and she will grade nicer, FORM A STUDY GROUP!

Cons: Course materials/plan seemed a bit disorganized. Grading on discussion board posts (while mostly good) felt a little arbitrary and like a popularity contest. Work load felt more like a 2-3 credit class. Pros: Overall, she was very helpful and friendly. Responds to emails quickly and is well spoken. Gives detailed feedback on assignments.

Loved this class. Online classes can have a very isolating and robotic feel to them, but she somehow personalized it and made it feel like a classroom. I appreciated her seriousness with the quality of the posts. I was challenged and encouraged.

Tanya was an awesome teacher! Very energetic and fun. She was also very gracious when it came to missed classes and homework. She does require you to put effort into the class, which I thought was great.

I took her course online. I feel that it was the right amount of work expected for a 1 credit class. She is a very fair grader. Remember to respond to discussion posts-- I forgot until the end of the term which was too late, and it cost me points. Still got an A though. She has a very positive attitude, which I liked.

One of the best teachers I ever had! Very knowledgeable and passionate about what she teaches. People that comment that she is hard a) have clearly not taken an upper level A&P class, because FT131 is EASY! b) are just looking for an A without having to work for it and/or learn anything. But if you want truly want to learn, make Tanya your teacher!

WAY too much work for a one credit P.E. class. I have taking distance P.E. classes before and they consist of keeping an exercise log and emailing it via Blackboard. She had tons of busy work for us to do and is a hard grader. Don't take this class if you don't like doing 3 credits worth of work for one credit.

Be on tome. Listen. Do what she says. Make sure to put in a good effort everyday as well as into your lab papers. She whipped my butt into shape, and even tho I almost never uttered a single word in her class I just listened and did well. I will take her again!

i find her teaching style very annoying-she rattles on about her credentials and degrees when it has nothing to do with the class. she is fairly knowledgeable about the material but makes you feel inferior if you struggle at all, and will mark you down if you abbreviate anything, which i find ridiculous. but, she does cover the required information

Very nice teacher, polite. Course is a pretty tough just cause there is so lots of information to learn, and it almost seems like she expects you to know a lot of the information already. She looks in real good shape and has great muscle tone.
