Honestly one of the best professors I've ever had at Pacific. I wish she could teach other classes like PACS so I could take her again. As long as you follow her directions for her exams and presentations, you'll get an A without a doubt. If you need a GE-2B, TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Professor Storch is fantastic. Just a phenomenal soul. Some of the students complained about her quizzes, but I asked them if they read the textbook and they didn't. WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED THEN?! During lecture she practically hands you the information you need to succeed on a silver platter. If you don't get an A, you really didn't try.

To be honest, I took this class because I was told it would be easy and fun. I learned some useful things but I really didn't enjoy the class as much as I thought I would. She screwed up and made the schedule 3 weeks short and based our grade on two projects and one test, which I didn't like. I wish I took a more traditional class for this GE.

Prof. Storch is easily one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. I honestly took Buddhist Societies because I heard it was easy but the reality is, if you want, there is so much to gain from the class esp because people tend to be very personal during our intimate sangha discussion. I can safely say this class will change your life

Professor Storch is an amazing person. This class could easily be passed with minimal effort, but if you actually apply yourself and try to learn, then this class could truly change your life. Most people dread PACS, with this teacher you'll end up loving it. Her passion is contagious.

One of the best professor at Pacific and one of my favorite class of all time. I took this class for a GE & minor requirement, but the class was so much more than that. I felt like I actually learned something from this class. Even if you're not interested in the subject, I would still recommend this class.

She really knows her stuff and she is very fair to her students. As long as you do the assignments (especially the readings) and can further explain what they mean, you'll be okay. She's funny and can really help to clarify whatever you need to be clarified about Buddhism and Buddhist Societies. Very knowledgeable.

Loved this class! Very interesting - no tests, just presentations on what you are interested in. She is always friendly and open to questions, and you learn different meditations and how to use the practices in bettering your own life. The field trips are fun, too! :) I'll miss it a lot.

Very passionate about what she teaches and her students. If you need help, she will truly help you out of the goodness of her heart. She's very into hands-on learning so you'll go on field trips ! Only 3 reports and 2 midterms, NO FINAL ! Plus, she gives you the questions on the midterms well in advance so there's no way you'll fail.

Highly knowledgeable in religious traditions throughout the world but a bit "out there." She's willing to help so long as you ask and isn't forgiving to those who slack. I enjoyed her a lot because I took the time to get to know her. She does tend to generalize and make assumptions about "American students" and that gets annoying.

She's kind of out there, but in a good way. She has a beautiful soul. She is the smartest person I've ever met. Not afraid to share personally with you. She's been through a lot, and is very warm. Wonderful. I wish she weren't so easy though. I feel kind of bad.
