Billy is the best. He is approachable&loves helping w/ essays. You don't have to participate, he just wants you to because he is so enthusiastic about the material&he always cracks bad jokes. I took the tandem with Svelmoe & these 2 classes were my favorites. I've always hated english & been bad at writing, but with these 2 I have improved a lot.

He was awesome. He's technically retired so this was the only class he was teaching, it was a tandem with him and Prof. Svelmoe. I loved the class so much, it might be one of my favorites I take for my whole college career. There are a lot of papers but it is a W class so that is to be expected. He is very approachable and I love him.

One of the most amazing professors at Saint Mary's! You shouldn't graduate without having a class taught by Ted Billy. He's funny and extremely intelligent. He's patient and willing to explain what you're reading in class. I learned so much and looked forward to going to his classes every day! Once you take his class you will see how awesome he is

I took his Fiction to Film class. He is the most caring, helpful, patient, witty, smart professor I've had. The discussions were great, the books were interesting, the essays were not easy to write but if you ever had any difficulties he would always be there for you. I loved his class!

Ted Billy is by far one of my favorite profs here at SMC! He picks the best materials for his classes, is an incredibly funny story-teller, and just makes the day more fun! Learning from Billy is no more a chore than singing along with the radio!
