Makes the class really fun and likes to talk, but still makes lectures very informative and clear. His tests are quite hard and long, so you need to come prepared and know exactly what you are doing, because there is no time to really think. HW is easy and not too much. If having hard time, go to his office hours, Ted is super nice and helpful!

Got the chillest vibes, and has a real energy when he teaches. You CAN'T fall behind in this class, as everything builds on previous material. Exams are kinda on the long side, but the problems are doable. Go talk to him, and he'll tell you about chemistry/life with a sincere smile. It is a great class, and you will learn a lot.

He's really cool, we were given an entire 8x11 page of paper to use as a cheat sheet. His exams are all multiple choice and I felt were pretty fair. He can be a bit discouraging however, which can spook of students.

Ted can be pretty funny, but he's not that clear. He expects you to know your stuff or else he says you're pretty doomed. It's really important to go to section bc quizzes but also because the TAs are very good are teaching when Ted the material is confusing. This is a very math based chem. Sometimes uses same exact question from midterm on final

Ted is a funny guy who is very willing to help. He tries to make chem fun but the class is still hard. Show up to class because he actually teaches, but discussion sections help a lot too. Tests are multiple choice but are hard nonetheless. There are two midterms and one is very early in the quarter and one cumulative final.

Ted Holman is a very good teach. He is easy to understand and outlines specifically what will be on the tests. THE FINAL EXAM WAS THE HARD THING IN THE WORLD. CHAPTER 7 AND 8 WILL STREAMROLL YOU IF YOU ARE NOT PUTTING IN THE TIME AND EFFORT. Ted is awesome tho. GOT A 50 % ON THE FINAL AND STILL GOT A B IN THE CLASS.

His midterms are pretty tough. They are multiple choice and sometimes the questions aren't very clear as they should be. The homework is pretty doable. His lectures are often interactive, but there are days when he is very dry and you might want to take a nap.

Ted makes his lectures clear. He makes lecture notes available for pre-printing. Homework isn't too bad. Do the practice midterms because they're very similar to the tests. I started going to his office hours in the middle of the quarter, and they helped so much. I had the textbook, but hardly used it because I went to class.

Holman is a great professor. Chemistry is difficult, but he makes it pretty easy to understand and keeps the tests simple so not to confuse anyone. He really cares about his students and wants everyone to pass. Don't slack off, attend MSI if you can and know your TA is your best friend! I didn't understand Chem without my section. Beware ch 7 and 8

Professor Holman is such a sweet guy. He cares alot for his students, and will go out of his way to help you. I found his exams difficult, and you'll have to do more than just go to all his lectures to get a good grade. I was struggling in his class, but managed to pull off a good grade in the end. He's very enthusiastic and inspiring.

Ted is the best teacher I could have ever hoped for. He goes so far out of his way to make sure his students have everything they need to succeed.Ted comes in early and stays late to answer student questions and provides us with extra office hours and gives his students opportunity for a good amount of extra credit.
