Go to class and listen. Don't bring distractions because it's easy to not pay attention in such a big class. He also takes off points if people slam the door during lecture. Gives extra credit close to finals which are easy and can save you but if you are not there you won't know bc he doesn't post it.

Lectures for 2.5 hours. He is very passionate about Cinema. The class is big and I recommend sitting towards the front. 3 tests 2 projects and 2 quizzes! That is all you are graded on. Quizzes are unannounced and typically happen if the classroom looks a little bare. Projects are questions about assigned movies and tests are over lectures.

Tests are pretty hard. but he is always available to help. Lecture is almost unbearable. Weird dude, but he means well. lots of extra credit opportunities. i got a b. could've gotten an a if i paid attention in class.

Ted is a funny guy, but not a great teacher at all. At first, his class seems very easy but its actually harder than you might think. It is not all about watching movies. You much watch 10 movies in the semester, few of which will keep you awake while watching. If you are not a complete movie buff, don't take this class.

Ted is pretty cool and helpful. Though if you think this class is about watching movies you are wrong! You listen, no note taking...The test are really hard (lots of notecards!). Overall if I had to take this class again I wouldn't-but I don't totally regret it!

Loved him! He helps you so much at study sessions and whenever else you need him. Do the study guide and you will get an A on tests. Go to class, you get extra points in the end and the materal WILL be on the test. Did I mention he is funny and gives you oreos in class??

great guy...really loves what he does...gives A LOT of extra credit if you ask him for an "extra credit opportunity" then he will give the class one...the class is kinda boring..if you know the stuff for the tests you will get an A...make sure your in class because he gives random assignments that can hurt your quiz average if you're not there.

Show up to class and watch the clips he shows, they are on the test. Give u a study guide b4 test, fill it out study it and you will do fine! Lots of extra credit...you have to watch 10 films outside of class...about 20 hours extra, easy but time consuming well worth it though for the test he gives you on them! Take him Great guy!

Interesting class. Be sure to go to class as much as possible because there will be film clips on tests from lecture. He gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit and points for attendence. I recommend taking this class!

AWESOME CLASS. It's very interesting, and he goes into detail about things that you would never have imagined. Go to class, you will need to see the slide shows, because on the tests, he has slides in them. The movies he recommends are great. Overall, he's funny, and an awesome guy.
