Comment:

Ted gets a bad rap but he's incredibly intelligent and really looks at your work. He sees differently. He pulls classical and contemporary themes out of freshman works and helps in understanding why and how something "works" or doesn't in a piece. He's brutally honest and has a good heart- a great freshman faculty.

Ted is an amazing professor. Unfortunately I believe he is retiring after this year, but he may have been the only person who truly cared wether I passed or failed foundation my first year. He gave no bs answers and straight up "I like this" or "this sucks". I owe him a lot. He's a great person, even though he's weird as hell!

Very full of himself. The WORST sense of humor I have ever witnessed. I almost left Alfred due to my lack of faith in the art program, mostly the teachers who cannot teach. But thankfully my second semester art teachers regained my faith, amd I came to the conclusion that just certain teachers(Ted Morgan) give art a bad name.

Ted can be a great teacher to some and a nightmare to others- he was resposible for one of my friends quitting Alfred, however, he was always extremely supportive and kind to me and I always felt that he and the rest of the teachers were looking out for me.Dont really appreciate his paintings though

Ted is rude and treats his students with less respect than a dog. His attitude toward students is not warm and he should have been bagged years ago. On top of his unfavorable personality he wasted an ENTIRE summer in Italy painting self portraits of himself as cesar. Who hired this guy?

Ted, Ted, Ted. While he's an interesting guy, I agree with the shyness, he doesn't tolerate crap and is pretty honest. Don't expect him to make any sense. He needs hugs and a stiff drink. All the foundations staff seem to be pretty disappointed in all the criteria you don't get, which is all of it.

During my FRESH. final critique (the end all one), he showed up ****. On top of his incoherent babblings, he insulted my work and suggested I drop out of art school. I subsequently graduated with a 3.8 and honors. How 'bout them apples? BTW Ted, stop painting self-portraits, everybodies had enough.
