Comment:
Horrible professor with a serious agenda and bias. The class is more about her opinion than it is about facts. Avoid at all cost if you like to talk in class about the subject you are taking... unless you just agree with her 100% of the time. Awful.

Teddys class is too hard... she grades too hard and does not give students enough credit. Her assignments start off really easy then get extremely difficult. She does not give any feedback and everyone in the class does bad and she DOES NOT care about their grades. Lectures will put you to sleep, might just take NyQuill... she even admits it!

Teddy's class is likely one of the most challenging classes you will take as an undergrad. She is demanding and has high expectations. if you can't handle her class, law school may not be the right choice. Two large research assignments, be willing to put in the time and the work, and you will do well. and take notes

So she bases the class mostly on two big assignments. She grades those assignments very strictly and the majority of the class gets a D on the first one. The second one is essentially a rework of the first one... so hopefully you can improve on it. If she doesn't like you... your grades will reflect it.

Pros: She is friendly, and can be approached for help, but she won't baby you through assignments. Cons: Very strict with deadlines and directions. Very anal about things like perfect spelling/grammar, and even margin lengths. I suppose that those skills are needed for law school and law practice, but be prepared for someone anal about details.

She is a really sweet person. She is very willing to help if you are stuggling in the class. Sometimes she gives quizzes and there is a research paper. The paper is fun though because you can choose a topic that is of interest to you. It is not an easy A but I learned a lot while taking the class.

Any positive review of her would be from a "favorite". The other 90% of the classroom gets a very cold & condescending Prof. The assignments are clear and she shows expectations of excellence, but cannot teach nor is she approachable for help. She loves and knows a lot of Law, but her aversion to her students make her a poor Prof.

By far the worst professor in the dept. she definately picks favorites. don't bother asking her for help or going to her office hours, she'll make you feel dumb. grades hard on participation and will usually give you a 0/10. steer clear of her class if at all possible. she is the most unhelpful professor i've come into contact with.

I REALLY REALLY disliked Teddy. She seemed really nice at first, but then I started to see she was picking favorites and doesn't make her instructions clear. She gave me a 0/10 for participation just because I never talked much. Her tests are ridiculously hard in comparison to how easy the classtime/classwork is. She is VERY unfair.

assignments have explicit directions-just follow them and you will be fine, very sweet personality, always in her office for office hours, wants to answer your questions if it is clear youre actually working on the assignment, this class will GREATLY benefit you in law school, worth the challenge in the end, reputable reference for law school apps

One of the worst professors I have had in my 4 yrs at Chico. She has favorites. She is one of the factors that made me choose to change my major from Poli Sci. high expectations. If you go to her office hours for help like I did, she talks down to you and is not helpful at all.

I took her legal research class and the way she grades is ridiculous. If she likes you, you get an A, if she doesn't watch out! I have went through 3 years at Chico with a 4.0 avg., I received a C in her class, that should give you some insight.

By far the hardest class i have taken in my college career. My advice is to follow her directions to a T this will save you a lot of points, start assignment 4 at least 3 weeks before its due, and if you need to speak with her visit her office hours with specific questions if you dont have specific questions she will be very demeaning towards you

She was a good professor. Not phenomenal, but still good. She was very clear about what she expected from an assignment and went over most things before we had to do them.

This teacher expects you to perform on the level of a paralegal. She doesn't seem to comprehend that most of us are still learning. She'll take whole points off for EVERY mistake. If you're on the on the cusp between two grades, she'll give you the lower grade and add a +. -_- This class totally runied my GPA. I don't recommend this teacher at all!

I wish Prof. Delorenzo taught more classes. Her notes and lectures are flawless and will help anyone serious about a career in law. Prof. Delorenzo might be demanding but if you're paying attention the work shouldn't be a problem. And besides all that she's able to convey the information without being a bore.

This class almost made me reconsider wanting to go into law. Teddy deliberately makes her class very hard! If you have never taken a legal class, I strongly suggest you wait...she expects you to already be familiar with citing and various other aspects of the class. This class totally ruined my GPA...

The class was real easy up until assignment #4 that was the hardest assignment I ever had and it's pretty much your whole grade in the class. It is a boring topic and she wasn't a great teacher she was ok. Assignment #4 was just insane and she was not very helpful when I asked for help. I got through and she is ok teacher.

Her topic is extremely difficult as there is so much to learn. She tries her best, but in the end you will do most of your learning through trial and error on Lexis/Westlaw. Very picky regarding citations, grammar, etc. She's nice but the class is too broad to be enjoyed. Just buckle down and tough it out, work with other students on the homework.
