Terence is a great guy, and he works hard to make sure everyone understands. On the homework, he gives difficult problems, but will end up giving you a lot of points back as a "curve". The homework problems prepare you for the test, which becomes easy by comparison. If you're taking this class, take it with him.

Good teacher. lessons can be boring but that is due to the class being math not the teacher. very helpful when it comes to homework, responds to emails quickly and has very helpful office hours.

I only used the textbook once or twice. Blows is an awesome teacher! This was by far my favorite class last semester! He wants you to succeed and notices if you are trying, but he doesn't like lazy students, so show up to class and give some effort.

There's a textbook, but it wasn't necessary; Dr. Blows presents all you need to know in class. He is great at giving examples and leading the class to the right conclusions. He is personable and kind, and he presents his material astoundingly well.

He is a great teacher. I struggle in his class since I was overloaded at the time. I think he is very knowledgeable. Very helpful if you can go to office hours. The class itself is very cool. not a conventional math class. striking similarity to differential equations

He seems like a nice enough person, but is not a very good teacher. Tells you to buy the book even though you never use it. As soon as you start to understand something, he'll convolute everything on the tests and homeworks. Boring class, sometimes he says something and just stands there and waits for everyone to understand, instead of teaching it.

I am terrible at Math but this teacher really cares about his students. I completely messed up on an assignment. Only got the first question right. He emailed me and said that he knows i have been working super hard in the class and i can redo the assignment and he would regrade it. He has extra credit built into alot of the assignments.

Super helpful. Going into his office hours will save your grade. I wish he taught all of my math courses. Definitely a professor I would go to for help even if I was taking a class with someone else.

A very eccentric professor, but one of my favorites at NAU so far. He's helpful, personable, and definitely knows what he's doing. Sometimes he moves too quickly and doesn't seem to notice the class not understanding, but if you clearly ask a question he always does his best to make sure everything is clear.

I have never been more frustrated in a class! I am a 4.0 student and have taken several online classes with no problem at all, The examples and notes are nothing like the homework, And his help is zero. i think he thinks he is teaching you by being unclear but its just more annoying and does not help me learn anything! avoid him at all costs.

MAT320W is one of the courses that weeds out people not meant to be math majors, that being said, Terry was the best possible teacher to take it with. He made proof writing much less intimidating and was always leaving notes on the homework to try and push us in the write direction with our next homework set. Best teacher I have ever had.

Math is droning, that's just the truth, and it doesn't usually matter who the professor is. However, he is one of the most helpful professors I have had. He is very accessible to his students, and will reward effort with a generous final grade. There is no academic reason I should have gotten a C, but I put in the effort and he rewarded that.

Very good instructor. The webwork is a bit difficult (might take hours), but the tests are relatively easy compared to them. Online is not necessarily easier but for summer it's really helpful.

Terence Blows created all of the content but Maya Lanzetta was the moderator for the online class. The learning modules were sometimes very difficult to understand & wording of problems didn't always make sense. Tests & assignments were challenging, but manageable. Still the best math class I've ever taken as problems were related to life issues.
