Wonderful professor!!! Honestly, I always found her class interesting. She is totally down to earth and wonderful outside of class. She picks really interesting material to read and to learn about.

She is really nice, but scattered. Someone in my class said it perfectly- "I felt like I spent more time figuring out what the work was than actually doing it." We had a ton of stupid small assignments and no one knew what exactly they were or when they were due. She is really nice, though, and the class is pretty interesting minus the busywork.

I worked closely with Terry in several classes; as others have said, she can get a little scattered in class, and she does expect a lot of reading and engagement with the material. But she is clearly passionate about the subjects she teaches, and she really works hard to make herself accessible to students.

Terry is is concerned about the welfare of individuals more so then the average person. Her approach to teaching can be demanding; she does expect everyone in class to engage with the material. Sometimes scattered within the classroom , she can be brought back on track with a knowing smile.
