First off never be late for his class. Secondly, if you do not like being called on in class, this class is definitely not for you. Everytime we come to class we have a quiz starting 8 on the dot. he lectures, we take notes, sometimes there is a movie involved. He loves picking on the males and uses them for his examples. Nice person though

Wow what a hard class. The teaching style isn't what most students expect. If you want to learn about the Greeks and Romans don't take this prof! He dabbles a little into the Greeks and Romans, but the majority of the class is about Dr. Lewis and his bullsh!t research paper. Not a class for the working student!!!!

Not your typical class. But fun none the less. If you are SHY, do NOT take this class, or else he WILL embarass you. I'll be honest though...I did not learn much about Humanities (don't care though), But I did learn about good note taking skills, and how to build a professional paper. Good teacher, but better suited for a Life/Work skills course.

SHITTY!!!he's an ****! he LOVES to talk about himself and thats all you learn is about his $148, 000 a year job offer, but he turned it down - yeah right no1 would turn that down!on his mid term we had to answer 25 questions and do 4 essays, in an hour & 15 mins!!! his class is horrible and the only thing i learnt is NOT2take any of his classes

Dr. Lewis is a funny professor. He is always joking about someone or something. His class is easy, as long as you come to class, and do your work, you will be okay. Just don't miss class or be late! Other than that he is a professor that I will reconsider for my next Humanities class. He is a really good professor.

He is VERY funny and LOVES what he does! His class is VERY easy and makes it fun. You go on field trips and get to use your notes for ALL tests. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

On the first day he attempted to make jokes about some of the students (they wern't entertaining). He reads from his notes and doesn't teach a whole lot at all. You get into class and he starts to read, he assigns you tot ake notes on movies as well. Very boring and uneventfull. He's also very off the wall and pretends as if he's uncle sam.

Dr. Lewis is an absolutely amazing person. His views on life are remarkable, I learned alot from him. I looked forward to going to his class every week. His tests are open notes/open book and as long as you have reviewed the chapters it comes easy.

The good thing is that this class is an easy A. The bad thing is that you won't learn anything.This class was basically a joke. The class was 75 percent social hour and 25 percent note taking. Random as hell! If you are a good student u wud prolly do better in an honors class.Class has no structure. Take him and if u cant handle it GET OUT as soon as the first deadline. Random quizes on god knows which chapter. Talks abt himself and his family. Asks hypothetical crap questions. Takes plp for granted. No respect for his students.

Totally random and funny. Tries to scare you in the first couple of classes to weed out the slackers, sort of. Talks about a 25 page paper, but it's honestly something a kindergardener could do. Make sure you stay on top of the syllabus because there are readings he will quiz you on and not remind you of beforehand. Completely worth it!!
