This professor really gave me self confidence and he made history exciting. He encourages all views, anyone who thinks he pushes his view on anyone is wrong. He encourages everyone to use their voice. I never shared my thoughts in class before, but he really encourages everyone to share. I learned more in his class than I did in HS.

I loved this professor because he makes a subject that can be boring very interesting. If you need help he is there to help you out and he loves participation. He does have liberal views but he encourages all views. Of course he has passion for politics and history, that's what makes him a great educator.

I didn't really think he was that bad. For the fact that i have no interest in history at all, he actually got my interest. Instead of focusing on remmbering dates and names he focused on the students just learning and understanding what happened and connecting it to today. I enjoyed the teacher and the class,just be ready to study.

Horrible class. You never knew what your grade was and the quizes were so detailed you mind as well memorize the chapter because thats your only way to get a good grade. He wants you to spend time outside of class going to politicle functions and if you are not interested in politics then he wont like you. Take someone else!

HORRIBLE!!! WORST HISTORY TEACHER EVER!! I sat in the first row and could still barely hear anything he said bc he talked to quiet. He is very LIBERAL and teaches that way and tries to make you liberal. Test were insanely hard as he tests on hard to know facts and trivial items, not the general idea or things you should know. 1/2 the ppl dropped

His lectures can get boring. It's very hard to understand him talks very softly and seems to have a hard time hearing. Tests were ok. Some of the test questions come from the worksheets for each chapter. If you read each chapter and do the worksheets and do your best at listening at his lectures believe me it's hard so should do ok.

I dropped the class after the first three weeks. The quizzes were made up of 10 questions from each chapter, which were an average of about 40 pages. You were quizzed each week BEFORE "lectures." Even then, he did not go over the text. Take it with someone else if you want to earn any sort of a decent grade.
