Worst teacher ever!! I could have pulled more physics out of my butt than he taught, hated football players and his derivations were completely worthless. Was literally 4 chapters ahead of all the other sections. Just in general crap!!

Comment:

A hippie in general, but an entertaining one. Often breaks up boring physics lectures with five minute rants about random topics. Derivations are often asked for on tests and homework is due weekly. His class is difficult, but you come out of it knowing the material well. Do homework and study/practice the derivations done in class and you're fine.

Literally the worst professor I have ever had. I took some of his upper level courses and did not learn a single thing. If you need some of his classes for grad level work, you will have to reteach yourself. He simply can't teach. He is impersonal, and if you ask for help, he will just tell you exactly what he said in class.

terrible teacher, does not explain anything. He does not give any helpfull examples in class. His class is extremely hard to stay awake in. He is very lazy when it comes to grading tests. I would not take him.

The first week I had him, he reminded me so much of Napoleon Dynamite. He gets off topic fairly easily. If you get him talking about the game Cricket, he'll rant for probably 20 minutes. He doesn't explain things very well and half the time I had no idea what he was talking about. His tests are hard, but his final was cake!

Horrible. Tests you over things before he teaches them. Doesnt make sense in class. Tests are hard, he doesnt allow calculators, notes, or anything-Everything must be memorized. The examples he does in class have no meaning to the subject being covered, and half the time he doesnt finish them anyways. He dresses funny, and his jokes are horrible.

Horrible lab prof - leaves the room after about 30 seconds and expects the TA to know what's going on. Thinks no one should get an A - total crap. AVOID HIS LAB CLASS AT ALL COSTS!

I seriously can't stand Sheridan.. He is so annyoing and doesn't teach. He writes derivations on the board and expects you to know them. Don't take him for Lab either because our labs are out of 10 pts. although he starts off at an 8.5 b/cuz we're not capable of performing good lab experiments.
