Go to class! Doesn't post notes (posts lecture 'outline', not v informative). I'd advise to audiorecord/type b/c she talks fairly fast + everything she says is rly important. Often asks to integrate knowl into idea for schooling, keep in mind throughout. TAs helpful. Likes participation, kinda mean when you're wrong, not v good @ explaining

very condescending attitude towards students. Her explanations are clear, but she has very high expectations and is not afraid to tell you...in a very rude and condescending way. She's not very sympathetic to her students either. (dismisses their compassionate reasons for extension requests).

Nice enough as a person, but very intimidating as a prof. Unless you are really into developmental, stay away! Somewhat condescending attitude towards students. If you can't talk to her on her level of knowledge, don't talk to her at all.

This prof was very difficult. I had 1A03 as a night class, and I never wanted to go because I knew I would have to listen to her (mostly) useless explanations which 99% of the time has to do with sex or alcohol. Not very amusing. I should have stayed home and just read the textbook (which was SUPER expensive, and she never really used it).

OH.DEAR.GOD!! This is a NEW low mcmaster university professors have managed to reach. Dr.(?) Lewis is *THE* worst professor. She doesn't know ANYTHING!! If people like her got through grad school, it gives hope for the rest of us. Psych dept, if you're listening, for the sake of the innocent minds, DO NOT LET HER TEACH!

the course had the potential to be great; the material is really interesting although there is a lot of it unfortunately lewis makes the class awful. She is not a good teacher and often confuses herself including everyone listening. It is impossible to do well in her class even if you are interested in the subject matter.

Her lectures are difficult to follow. She confuses a lot of her material particularily when she strays from the textbook. She is unable to teach clearly difficult subjects and often leaves you more confused then you would be with out her explanations.

Avoid taking this class with her!!!! Course is interesting but she mannaged to make it ill.. Somehow everything was about sex and extremely rude to some people. One would think with her knowledge she could be more sensitive to people appearances, thats says it all. She does not teaches what she test you on. I want my money back!!
