Prof. Nickel has great conversations with her class about subject matter and engages students into difficult reading material. I totally enjoyed her class. She chose versions of the books that we inexpensive too. She wants you to show up and work hard. If you do, you will succeed she is very approachable!

Loved her lectures and use of film. Makes for an engaging class experience if you participate. Really helped my writing as well as fostering an interest in Lit. Would take another class with her!
