This professor is alright. It is just that wants you to show the dumbest and smallest steps in solving a problem, even as small as multiplying two things together. I couldn't even finish a test in that class. Extra credit tho: write math memes on the test and hw.

Teaches straight to the board, mainly goes by examples, and you have to interrupt for his attention. His exams feel they're not designed for a 50-minute period and they hardly correlate to the examples and homework. Some of his MAPLE assignments can be buggy. If you do take him, make sure you have an understanding of Calculus.

This professor teaches to the board all class. He never looks at his students. I have raised my hand numerous times and he has not seen it. He does examples all class and hardly explains anythings. I would avoid this class.

A professor who loves Calculus; however, you may need to read up on the topic. Exams are the big parts of the grade and they're much harder than the homework assignments. He'll point out mistakes on graded material, but he's very forgiving on mistakes. Extra credit work is fun, but challenging. Take him if you're interested in the topic.

Dr. Anderson was a great calc professor who finally helped me understand calculus even a little bit. His teaching style is difficult to get adjusted to, for he mainly talks to the board the whole entire class going over very specific examples. If you copy his notes, you usually can understand what's going on. He can have a funny sense of humor, too

If you get distracted easily I wouldn't recommend. Look out the window for 10 seconds and you may get lost. Only does examples on board for the whole class. If you learn well that way, then all the power to ya. Cheat sheets allowed on exams. Sends you old exams and they are VERY similar. Had the cheesiest jokes he cracked me up. There to help

I've had Mr. Anderson this last semester for Calc II and overall it was a great experience. heres some pros and cons Pros: -Crib sheets allowed on all exams (since you can just google equation in the real world) -Extremely intelligent and friendly -Frequent extra-credit opportunities Cons- Teaching style may not work for some

Dr. Anderson is a kind and extremely intelligent mathematics professor. Generally, if you do not intend to work hard, you will find his class to be tough. If you do all of the suggested homework, this class will be easy. I believe, however, that many of the students could treat him better One of the nicest professors I've had so far.

He frequently asks if anyone has questions but won't answer them during class time. He's normally a few minutes late and never ends class on time. All you do is examples of the material and he never really explain how/why you do certain steps. Often draws out problems and makes them harder than they actually are. The internet will be your BFF.

Take with another teacher if possible! Covers everything required for the course, but hardly clarifies anything. Tests are absolutely absurd; crib sheets are allowed, but there are three hours worth of questions in a 55 minute test. Always starts and ends class late. Homework easily takes 5 or 6 hours per assignment. Good person, poor teacher.

Class: Calc 1 Pros: Gives tons of extra credit chances. Gives answers if asked directly. Cons: Teaches to the board, will not talk directly to class EVER, goes on tangents about unimportant things. Impossible to learn from. Final Opinion: Take him if you can teach YOURSELF Calculus. He'll grade very very nicely, but he can't teach you himself.

He teaches to the board. He is confusing and when you attempt homework from the book, good luck. He is always 10 min late to class and will keep teaching unless someone gets up and leaves. The only thing that got me through was his cheesy personality.

He teaches to the board. His voice is a little annoying. He asks if you have questions but doesn't give the class time to ask. He goes in to so much detail and loses you even when he gets to the key point. He grades the quizzes and exams quite easily. He gives you credit for anything relevant you write down. He loves jokes but doesn't laugh.

Mr. Anderson does 3 to 4 example problems in class on the board. He's quite thorough in explaining, but some people find it difficult to learn to way he teaches. He's really dorky and makes corny jokes throughout class, but he's also really helpful outside of class. Calculus isn't too fun to take, but personally I really like Mr. Anderson.

He teaches to the board and isn't very good at answering questions in class. However, he is very helpful during office hours. He gives multiple examples which helped me understand the material better. Anderson lets you use multiple crib sheets which is AWESOME. I would definitely take him again. Great guy.

Professor Anderson teaches an EXTREMELY difficult course (Calculus 2). I do not think an easy method for learning the material exists, so I believe he proved himself as an excellent teacher. I received an A in the class - he puts a nice curve on everything since it is such a hard subject and gives extra credit for pictures and jokes on tests.

If you want a Professor who will rarely teach you a thing, who talks like Bullwinkle, and will put you to sleep, this is your class. The awfulness of his class brings us all together at least...
