OUTSTANDINGLY BORING AND REPETITIVE CLASS!Articles in the reader were mostly informative and fairly engaging,but dull standard questions in class meant "for discussion" killed all the beauty in them.The tests on the readings-easy if you follow his study guide,but degrading if you wish to make critical thinking a part of your educational experience

Awesome freshman seminar; meet professional journalists. Not especially easy grader. A wake up call if you've always been an A student. If you respond to ALL HIS points, go to him for help, and re-write the papers when you have the opportunity - you'll get by in this interesting class.

'01 Jour minor. Took everything but M&Pol. Is tough but fair. Knows his stuff and tries to make it interesting. Grading on "journalism" writing can be discouraging, but you learn from it. Tests are v. easy if you memorize study guides.
