Extremely nice gentleman. I wish the class had some student participation of any kind, such as projects, homework, or any other ideas that can make the teaching 2 way interaction instead of setting for 3 hours and listening to teacher read his notes.

Comment:

Just retypes the chapters for a projector and reads each slide, word for word, as the class. No real prep or practice for appraising. Nice guy but not a very good teacher. Stories about his appraisal experience are interesting.

Comment:

Very knowledgeable and makes excellent use of local real estate appraisal examples during lectures. He has been teaching the class since the 1970s, but keeps lectures current and interesting. He has been doing appraisals for the county assessor’s office for many years and has a lot of interesting on-topic stories to enhance lectures.
