He is definitely not the best. You basically teach yourself in this class. He is constantly late and once he didn't show up for a midterm. Questions from the midterms and final are the same as those from homework. You don't have to show up everyday, and the class is still an easy one to pass.

2 midterms (one he didn't show up for), one pop-quiz, one final, maybe 2 hw assignments a month..The easiest A I've EVER gotten in my life. The questions on the midterms are the EXACT same questions that he puts on the hw, he doesn't EVEN CHANGE THE ORDER. I haven't been to class in 3 weeks..really, if you're looking for an easy A, Kofi's your guy

If you want an easy A take this class. You dont really have to go to class except when there are tests. We had 2 midterms and a final and a couple random hw assignments throughout the semester. He lectures about Obama and cocoa the whole class. Tests are just a compilation of the multiple choice from hw.

Terrible prof. Knows his stuff but doesn't teach well at all. Avoid taking this class w/ him at all costs. I didnt learn anything had to learn on my own. Hw isn't that bad, tests are kinda hard. essays are wack. He talks about nothing in class thats really relevant to what we need to learn. Unorganized and unclear as a professor. WHY IS HE AT USF?!

Half the time I didn't go to class. A few times he didn't come to class. I walked out a few times because he was going on about cocoa or something random. I could never understand a word he was saying. I had a C in the class from tests & midterm & read the ENTIRE text book for the final and got an A+ in the class! Exams are similar to practice test

This people who say he is so great are insane. I hardly learned a thing from him in this class. The book is your life support. He rambles and talks about nothing. He always wants you to read his lame essays that are hard to understand and useless. It's a relatively easy class but if you want to learn don't take this class.

Kofi is an amazing guy and amazing teacher. The people that dont enjoy the class either dont do the reading or dont enjoy economics. Its your job to do the reading and kofis to solidify it and answer any questions. Pretty easy if you do the reading and occasional homework.

Kofi is super sweet, but he just cannot get through to students what they need to learn about microeconomics. Basically, in order to learn anything u have to learn it from the book. his tests are pretty easy b.c they're just like his practice tests.

For those who complain about Kofi, the material is probably just "too big for your head," as Kofi would say. He is one of the most intellectual & elite professors I have ever had. Kofi makes the topic extremely deep & uses anecdotes & applied economics to his lectures which is very helpful to understand & interesting. Loved him. Greatest Prof ever.

I'm sure he was great before his age (and medical problems) kicked in, but this is a very difficult teacher to follow. In fact, I didn't learn anything in his course. If you just want credits, fine. If you're looking to learn? Seriously, go with someone else. Even the readings he assigned were useless, I dont think we even had a course outline
