Took for lab only. Nice person, interesting anecdotes. His notes are a mess. Tests are super hard: midterm and final are each 1/3 of the grade. Worth it to come to the reviews. Have to memorize & regurgitate arbitrary things for quizzes. Use microscopes a lot. Taught us outdated taxonomy.

He is by far my favorite professor at ECC. I really enjoy biology, but anyone who likes science needs to take his class. He is extremely knowledgeable. I occasionally reviewed my notes, and studied for each test and got nearly 100 on each one. There was not much work involved and his lectures were interesting for the most part.

Great teacher and very sweet guy. He knows the material and explains it very clearly. Write down all the notes and pay attention and you will do well on the exams. Test material is based off lectures so make sure to attend class.

he is such a sweet guy, if you ask for help he is more than happy to help!!! You NEED to pay attention and study A LOT. He's and excellent professor if you give him the respect he deserves. He's crazy smart and knows his stuff. you'll find that out the first class.

Show up to class and pay attention, and you'll pass with flying colours. He is quiet, so the closer you sit to the front the better. He knows his stuff and is very clear, and if you don't get it in class he'll be more than happy to help you outside of it.

Teacher talks away from you and writes on the board. He is a DR and has handwritting like one. You will have about 20 full pages of notes that he expects you to memorize for tests. Only grades in class are the tests. Very confusing but nice guy.

Pond water genius. Hard to understand. His bio lab is very hard... Lab practicals and you have to learn all the animal kingdoms. Never took for class but be prepared to study for his lab. Didn't use the book but you gotta decipher his notes

Took 101/102 with him. Yes, he's quiet and has a slight accent but he's a great professor. Tests from lecture exclusively, grades on a curve, beyond helpful after class / during office hours. Also has a wonderful dry sense of humor. Had him for a small lab and got to know him better that way. Highly recommend taking this class. You will learn

Thick accent, soft spoke (sit near front) hard teacher, however, i wish he taught all of my classes. If you go talk to him after class, he always has time for you, and is very helpful. Textbook use is very low, all his tests are from the lecture (all MC, sometimes diagrams), grades on a curve, and extremely nice. Don't miss class-u need the notes

A nice man with quite the sense of humor. Has the most difficult accent i have had yet.When trying to ask ? he just could not answer them. He's on a different page than us. his notes are hard to understand and the book does not get used AT ALL the WHOLE semester, a friend warned me wouldn't help..so i held off on it buying it.. and i didnt need it!

Super hard to understand the first day, but you'll understand every word he says a few weeks later. Don't even need to buy the book. Class is easy - you sit there and copy down what he writes on the board the whole time. Tests are right from these notes, just memorize them. Take the night lab (it's the easiest, the guy's super cool).

Short little indian man. The NICEST teacher EVER. He knows a lot about biology...the tests are directly from the board. The text book is not needed, just REALLY study the notes. Be neat and right down the things he says and does not write on the board.
