Excellent course, encouraging prof. Funny, engaging. Projects are designed for your thesis. Assignments every week support your writing. Assignment descriptions could be shorter, clearer, but extra info is helpful for those wanting to add more. You can re-submit work--treats learning as an experience. Would like to see more of her work examples.

A very practical course. All assignments are integrated and geared towards the final project of completing a research proposal. For graduate students writing their thesis proposal, it would be wise to time it with this course. Very helpful and willing to help students. Provides great feedback and shows genuine interest in students' work.

IAT320 used to be a great course (b4 Thecla) where great projects are generated but now its pathetic. She doesnt even expect you to make anything. Its all about process or tons of websites or blogs she wants you to make! She wastes >4wks on presentations and expects you to spend another wk prepping for each! She contradicts herself. Avoid her!
