quizzes every week, cant teach at all, doesnt explain anything correctly when you ask her a question, you basically have to teach yourself. worst math professor I have ever taken, and I'm a math major so believe me I know a good prof when I see one, and I don't see one.

Discrete is most likely unlike any math youve ever taken before, but after the first few weeks you get used to it. If you dont get something after class just read the chapter but she is willing to stay after class if you have any questions. 3 homeworks, 3 tests and a final. Prof V is really good, made class fun, i would definitely take her again.

Calc 2 is no joke, but Prof V is good. Make sure you do ALL the homework and ALL the class examples and really understand them by the time the test comes so you'll be ready. She will not throw you something she hasn't taught. She is a super nice and sweet lady, and answers emails pretty quickly if you have any questions.

She had many flaws, she was a good person but flew past so many things leaving people in the dust. She gave homework but didn't grade it or properly go over it. The tests were really hard and she never gave partial credit. Took this class again with another person in the summer and got an A. In the beginning there were 34 ppl then 7ppl in the end

Sweet lady, funny and kind. 3 exams, 3 take home assignments and a final. Study EVERYTHING from your notes and you should be fine. Be prepared for these exams, they won't be simple questions like the homework.

I have never had a teacher who gives tests that youre not sure of... until I met Vecchiarelli. She really doesnt review enough for the tests, and her tests are based off nonsense and are very unclear. I WOULD NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN! She was awful! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from her.

She is a good professor but I tried hard studied day and night her test were impossible I think if you took algebra in high school you should be good but be prepared to teach yourself algebra and trig .

Tests were all straight forward, if you don't do the HW and dont study, you wont understand the questions and will fail and drop the class. Don't be like me. The lectures are useless if you dont do hw because you can't follow along. She replaces the lowest test grade with the final, but only if you have great attendance.

Terrible professor. Very difficult grader. Lectures are terrible and boring. Doesn't explain things correctly. Doesn't help when asked for it. I don't recommend taking this professor.

I took this as a prerequisite that i needed in order to apply to a graduate degree program. I will need to repeat a math class as I did not pass. Do not register for this class unless you are an above average math student. Lots of homework, term project will take 20 hours or more to complete and is only worth 15% of the final grade.

Never before did I ever think a class could be impossible no matter how hard I tried, until I took Pre-calc with professor V. I studied for countless hours and still received 40's on all of my tests along with the other students in my class. I don't know how this professor has such high rating when everyone in my class failed. stay away

Amazing professor, really cares about and is always willing to help her students. The only downside is that she is an early-bird, so you will be waking up early in the morning to attend her classes.

Students would ask for help and she would tell them to go to the resource center refusing to further explain a concept. Very bipolar. We had a full class at the start of the semester, and by the end there were 10 students left. The day before withdrawals were due she told us all to get one and drop. Not a single kid passed.

Very sweet lady. Can be frustrating on her part because students will show up late, leave early or text the entire class, then they will approach her with questions about the topic b/c they were not paying attention. She is there for help when you need it. It is a hard topic to teach; but doing the homework every night is the key to understanding.

She is a great professor. Very clear when explaining topics. I would definitely take her again. The only thing that made the class difficult is one: its calculus 2 its going to be ridiculous and two: our tb was the worst math tb I have ever had to use ever! (Calculus: single variable by Deborah Hughes-Hallet).

She is the best math professor I have ever had! I had her three times, and loved each day of seeing her. The work she gave was completely reasonable, and she had no problem helping you out. The only warning I would give is that the final test is the hardest test you'll get in the class, but it's out of love. A must have professor!
