Way too much HW for class at this level. Does not care about content of work only formatting. Instructions are confusing and on top of that shes a tough grader Would never recommend class to anyone

Wouldn't recommend taking her considering the work load she gives, and how hard she is on grading. would never take her again.

The class work is not that hard but there is so much busy work. I didn't have enough time for it at all. I took it online as a liberal studies elective and ended up dropping it because there is not enough time to do her work with all my other classes. Some of the assignments are also confusing on how to format and submit things. Do not recommend.

It is honestly super easy to get an A in this class because she gives you super easy assignments that are just busy work. she is super specific on formatting. She gave me a 0/100 for doing extra work on a quiz. Because of her being so specific I currently have a C in the class, but this class could be so much easier if you have a lot of time.

Honestly, I don't really know where to say anything good. She never teaches, always expects perfection out of research papers that are so far out of the ordinary that you don't know what to write about. Along with "Boundaries" book assignments that require a specific layout, it's very hard to get a DECENT grade in her Cyber Wellness course.

Doesn't teach the class, uses oddly specific subjects for you to research, which leads to everyone's presentation sounding the same. Will dock you 5 points if you forget a space in your paper. (Not that extreme but still, the format is graded harder than the content) Your grade relies on your classmate's presentation not sucking .Good luck

Erratic, poor grammar/spelling, and almost certainly does not read papers, only grades on format. I would recommend another professor, as O'Neil is highly unprofessional. Leaves strange comments on moodle replies.

She's pretty tough at grading. Just read the book and do the reports. It's just a cycle, you choose topics, write a report, and then present it to the class. It's pretty easy but she's very specific when it comes to grading.

Being a student that works a lot, I thought it would be better for me to take this course online. There is so much busy work. It's a lot to manage if you work. Don't take this if you have multiple things to handle in your last semester.

O'Neil is extremely easy to get in contact. She will answer her email basically any time of the day. She wrote the course, so she understands what is being taught. A lot of the homework is easy to understand and complete. Just show up, as she does take attendance.

RUN!! She turned a simple 101 course into a grad one! Soooooo many assignments!! Even if you do them all you WILL still end up getting a bad grade. She will try everything she can to make you feel stupid. 80 % of my time went to her class and I'm still failing. She wants you to fail! That's why she makes her final worth 2 letter grades. VICIOUS!!!!

She's rude condescending & sarcastic. A insane amount of work and for what? The final is double grade so if you fail that it will drag you down. Her grading system is designed (BY HER) to disappoint you just to satisfy her evil sense of superiority. She WILL drive you insane! You'll work like a dog for a C or D! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SAVE YOURSELF!!

She is very prompt with her responses to emails. I did however, have a hard time receiving help and guidance from this Professor. If you depend on going to the Professor for questions, help, guidance, etc., be prepared to receive smart and sometimes rude responses back and her reluctancy to help. Not good for new students.

For a 101 level course, the amount of work you receive is ridiculous. She is so rude and will email you back in all caps and treat you like you are stupid. I would never recommend taking a class with her. There are so many assignments in this class that it is an easy A as long as you have the time to complete the work.

I took this class online thinking that it would be easy and not stressful since it is a 101 class. I would not take again with how much work she gives out. All my time pretty much went towards her class. She does care about her students and will help you if you need help. But, she is kind of rude and sarcastic. Except A LOT of work if you take her!

She gives weekly assignment, but is flexible if you have any problems. She answers your questions quickly and helps as much as she can. A lot of points were given so don't freak out if you miss an assignment. If you do what is asked of you and don't hesitate to ask questions, you will receive an A.

She gives weekly assignments and expects them to be done on time. That being said, I had to take some time off and she was very understanding and extended all deadlines for me. You don't have to worry about missing an assignment or two because there are so man points given. She answered any questions quickly and reminded us to do assignments.

Great professor! One of the best at IUP because she truly cares about her students and doing her job the best she can. That means she makes sure you know what to do (hw, tests, etc) and that involves sending LOTS of emails. But that only helped me to stay organized. It was a lot of work but not difficult.

Do not take this professor. For a 101 level class you have over 4500 points in the semester. I took 15 credits and this class was 60 percent of my work. Ridiculous for a 101 computer class. I recommend taking someone else and avoiding the unnecessary stress.
