Filburn is a great teacher for anyone who actually plans on leaving college and entering the real world as an engineer, he teaches what he knows which is engineering as a profession and you will leave his class more prepared for the workplace because of it

Filbeezy rocks the shiznit. YOU WOULD BE STUPID NOT TO TAKE HIM. If you look up the word "Awesome" in the dictionary, you won't find his picture, but a hand pops out, slaps you and yells at you for not knowing that the definition of "Awesome" is Tom Filburn PhD.

Dr. Filburn is an excellent teacher and has practical experience that he uses to augment his classes. Because of his past experiences, he can get you excellent research topics and funding (DOE, NASA). He is friendly, approachable, and relates to the class very well. I have had him for three classes, and as a research advisor. Truly exceptional.
