Professor Heacox is wonderful. He's no nonsense, and he certainly doesn't inflate grades, but he'll be honest and up-front with you. His class on Literature and the Formation of Homosexuality is as entertaining as it is insightful.

I have a huge big fat crush on this man. He is definitely my favorite professor at wm so far. He takes attendance, but as long as you're there most of the time I don't think it negatively affects you. He knows about 4589 poems by heart, and he'll recite them if it becomes relevant. He didn't grade too hard, but if you're dumb don't take his class.

maybe the smartest person i've ever met in the world. so brilliant. i can just listen to him ramble on forever. knows everything ever written or said. he probably even knows what i just ate for dinner. on the other hand, he expects the same from you...he's very hard but reasonable. just take him, it wont be bad...too bad at least.

possibly one of the most intelligent professors EVER and very engaging in class, appreciates everyone and you learn to respect him. but TERRIBLE about returning assignments quick enough for you to make use of the feedback he says is so important for improving your next grade. also, quite snobbish. take him for the challenge but not for your GPA.

Really nice guy. Informative, helpful and SO knowledgable. Hard-ish grader, but appreciates innovative/intelligent comments. You also have a lot of freedom with assignments. I really recommend for English majors. Thought provoking and sensitive to varied opinions, and the subject matter is fascinating.
