The whole class is lecture style and the tests are extremely hard for the amount of information given to you.

This professor is awful. He has had to postpone the first test twice now because he doesn't cover the information fast enough. All he does is repeat himself over and over. He always keeps you after the class time is over. His lectures are meaningless. He is arrogant and uses language that nobody can understand.

if you actually care about environmental ethics don't take this class. i did not learn one thing , he doesn't grade hard at all which is cool but by week six i was so mad in this class and getting nothing out of it. the first 4 weeks is him spewing his beliefs all over you and if you don't agree you're dumb. 2 hour night class with no breaks

Amazing professor! He is funny, knows the subject very well, his lectures are a bit heavy but through them you will learn a lot. Would take his class again if I had the opportunity! Make sure you show up to class or you will not do so well!

Class was very lecture heavy, and the exams only cover things that he's gone over in class, so SHOW UP (!!!) take excellent notes and also study the study guide he gives you--the reading is really unnecessary. There's no homework apart from a term paper. Exams are mostly written (use lots of detail in your answers), so you must know your stuff.

I would take any class he teaches, he his an amazing teacher and makes sure you know everything and some. He only had four grades which all were tests. Two were multiple choice and fill-ins and two were all multiple choice. Theres no mid-term and the final is one of the four grades which was all multiple choice. He is my favorite teacher.

Dr. Jovanovski was a very funny guy, but also very intimidating. His tests were fairly easy and there were only 3 during the semester and a final exam, but the 2500 word term paper with no real direction kinda ruined it for me.

Great teacher. Had him for an intro class at LCCC. Tests can be very difficult, but he covers EVERYTHING you need to know in class, and then some. He does not care if you attend or not, but be there every day if you know what is good for you. Incredibly well versed in what he preaches, and possibly one of the smartest people I have ever met.

Dr. Jovanovski is a great professor, and one of the smartest and most well-read professors you will probably ever take. He may seem overbearing at first, but that's because he knows (and remembers) so much. Do the reading, ask questions, and as long as you write well and show some command of the material, you will do fine.

Not many opportunities for points. Only 3 tests a paper and a final, all worth 200 pnts each. Great teacher, loves his job clearly, but longest lectures.

If you come to class and listen to what he says youl do fine,if you want more than fine, youl have to write your papers ahead of time, have him go over it with you (which he'd be more than happy to do)and re-write. He says he is arrogant-but hes not, hes just really smart. Doesnt teach much mostly rambles,he can be funny but STAY ON HIS GOOD SIDE

He demands excellent writing so you're papers won't be as good to him as you think they are. He spent the entire first class bashing the American educational system which is why I'd say he was arrogant. He was a nice guy though and a good teacher. A lot of us stayed after class one day and he taught us how to write better papers.
