Dr. Kammer is my favorite teacher at WVU so far, I cant wait to take 331 with him in the fall. I'm a geology major, and my friends who are in the class do well on tests as long as they come to class and read the text book before the test. He gives out up to 15% extra credit on your final letter grade through clicker points.

Horrible teacher. Doesn't explain anything, literally just reads off the powerpoints. You need to study a lot and go to class if you want to have a chance at passing.

He was an interesting professor. His tests are pretty easy. He gives extra credit quizzes randomly during class, but if you don't want those then there is no need to go to class to pass. I passed just by reading the notes and the book.

Funny teacher. Does his best to teach a boring subject to students who have no intentions of majoring in Geology. Has very generous curve in class mainly because if he didn't no one would pass. On top of that he has EC quizzes which could add an extra 10% to your grade at the end of the semester. 4 Tests on computer and 14 Quizzes with one eachweek

He is the most boring teacher. Every time i went to his class i immediately fell asleep. Then when i was struggling, i went to his office hours and even that was a joke. pick a different professor if you can.

Dr. Kammer is an excellent teacher. I can all but guarantee that the students who gave a poor rating skipped class and probably failed because of it. He knows his stuff more than any other professor that I have ever had and makes things interesing. Lab was a little difficult but the class tests are not too bad if you take the outlines seriously.

Force yourself to go to class b/c it really does help w/ tests. Skim the book (only 5 quest. on test are from it) but MEMORIZE the outlines - those are key for the tests. Tests are super easy (w/ bonus quest.) if you know the outline material. Also, he swears none of his practice test quest. are on the test, but they ARE, so memorize it as well.
