I hate Math, but Lawrence made this class a breeze! Sometimes it's hard to follow the material because he goes off topic so much, but I don't mind, I just did my homework in class and taught the material to myself. He's a very laid back teacher and tells the greatest anecdotes!

he's a good teacher~ if you do your homework as a review for yourself and understand his review for the test, you will do just fine!. i dont understand why people are getting D's and F's even though he is doing perfectly good review for the test. maybe they are not trying hard enough.. totally recommend him for math 070!

Lawence is the best physics teacher at COC. regardless, this class is somewhat difficult. he lectures and is very smart however it is DIFFICULT to pay attention to his lectures. you do get a note card on every test, and he tells you an outline of the problems you will have. Tests are stil pretty hard though. got a B in the class

Geez, this guy will put you to sleep.Seriously.I started not attending class because it was soooo boring.I probably attended 4 classes the entire semester (just when we had exams). Good thing I'm excellent at Math so I still got an A!Just do the HW and do the book exercises, and you'll be fine.

I didn't really like him as a teacher because he usually went off topic and makes jokes. I already understood the material, but I sometimes felt confused on what section we were in. But on the other hand he gives you a great reviews before the test.

Most of the grades are based on quizes and tests. He doesn't take role but it's really up to you to make that commitment. You really need to do the work for this class. He's willing to help. Test reviews are EXTREMELY helpful. He does digress most of the time with weird jokes, but it's ok, just laugh anyway.

Professor Lawrence is great, he is the best math teacher I have ever had. He explains everything extremely well. He goes through the test the day before and gives examples of the same problems which will be on the test. If you go over that there is no way you can fail. And he curves!! Thank you Professor Lawrence!

Took this class during winter intersession and was completely lost! he rambles and stands in front of the problems he's working on and erases them before you even can copy them down. pace was too fast. he was pretty chill though, but i am not a math person, so i couldnt keep up.

well...he's not easy..he teaches..but u will not understand anything..you basically have to learn the material yourself..and the questions he says are going to be on the test are never there..basically...it sucks..he's old..so give him some credit for being there..he's trying..but its just hard to get an A or even a B in his class..

Mr lawrence if the best teacher ever. Very clear, very helpful, willing to repeat and explain over and over till you get it, you just have to study and ask questions. Great sence of humor, he tells funny stories to illustrate the problems and make learning more fun. his reviews for the tests guarantees you an A. you just nedd to study and attend.
