For all you slackers who think he was "hard" you're lazy. His class was totally fair, and his discussions were always engaging and the books were awesome. Tom was such an awesome teacher that I took him twice. Tough grader, but very rewarding class, you learn alot. Great personality, then again I might be considered a "favorite." Favorite tip: Talk to him about his car, and you're in. Or you could just try to do well in the class?

Tom is the bomb. I loved his class. Our discussions in class were so interesting...I actually looked forward to them. He is a hard grader, but the class itself wasn't too hard. He is very liberal and sometimes I thought he let this interfere with his teaching...but all and all he is an awesome guy

BIAS Lawyer who has FAVORITES in class. Grades really HARSHLY, I cannot express how BIAS he is. VERY LIBERAL. He is a good teacher though, he teaches really well and connects with the students but he is not Fair. He will shut you down if you want to argue with his beliefs.

i LOVED this class!tom lecarner is a great teacher and he's not to bad on the eyes either.He does grade a little harsh sometimes but if your a good writer its no problem at all. He relates really well to his students and is absolutely hilarious (but right wingers beware, hes VERY liberal)..TAKE IT!

Class is fun, a lot of reading but the books are awesome. He will explain everything very well, but he makes you think. You have to do 6 2pg papers & a 4pg. midterm & a 6pg. final that requires research.
