Dr. Longeran is a great teacher! I'd take him again if I had the chance. He makes the material interesting and writes clear notes on the board. HOWEVER, his tests are a bit hard and you have to consistently read from the book. But it shouldn't be that hard, even I made an A. =)

I had him last semester for both lecture and lab and liked him a lot. He was very clear with his notes, wrote everything (EVERYTHING) on the board, and made the lectures interesting. His tests aren?t extremely easy, but they aren't bad if you study.

He was an amazing teacher! His lectures are always interesting and he explains the material very well. He's also really enthusiastic about the materials he covers. However, his test are very tricky so you really have to understand the concepts and not just memorize notes. Review your notes everyday and you should do fine.

Be advised that I took BIOS 1083 with Dr. Lonergan not BIOS 2114. He is easy for BIOS 1083. Dr. Lonergan is not only the best Biology professor but the best teacher ever. Enjoyable, educational, informative, interesting classes.

Hands down, the best teacher I have ever had. His lectures are extremely clear and interesting. He makes really difficult concepts seem extremely simple, and breaks down biology to the point that it seems easy. This class requires actually studying though. Don't take it if you are a slacker.

Dr. Lonergan is the greatest Biology professor! I was fascinated at his knowledge base and excellent communciation skills. He conveys Biology with such ease and appreciation. His lectures were concise, brillant, interesting and always filled with humor. Warning: This class is not for slackers, only for serious students ready to study and learn.

Excellent teacher - Dr. L breaks the subject matter down and makes it extremely clear. However - be warned, his tests are hard. He does curve, but you HAVE to put the work in! As a woman, I've never had a problem with him (I don't know what the other person's issue was?).
