I took Tom in Options and Comp. He is a motivating, inspiring, brilliant, clear, and critical in design. Do yourself a favor and take him. Not only will you become a better designer, but your thinking will develop in rigor and clarity. I have learned so much from him and produced incredible work.

Amazing. By far the most important professor I've ever encountered. Methodical yet exploratory, patient yet tough, brilliant yet clear. I came out of this class understanding who I was as a designer. If you do not take Tom in the architecture school, you have missed an opportunity to learn. Actually learn.

He is one of the greatest instructors I’ve ever had. He always motivates you to work. Always lets you design and back you up all the way! He always inspiring. But he will make you work, you cannot slack off if you have him but because he motivates you so much, you don’t mind work as much…at least i didn't. I would not mind having him again.
