After years and years of courses in the discipline, I've found him to be 1)the least enthusiastic about teaching, 2) unable to motivate, 3) unable to clearly explain the subject matter, 4) unable to relate his material to rest of program, 5) unclear about what his role as a prof/teacher is, 6) shut out of departmental decisions. I'm still scarred.

Excellent instructor that shines in the field. The only one in the G&ES dept that is capable of teaching comprehensive field courses. Too bad he doesn't teach many classes anymore.
