excellent professor. i took several classes with him, and they were the best art history classes i have taken. he was inspiring and made me want to become an art historian. saic lost its best art history professor when he retired.

Sloan is a great teacher, he still remebered me years after I took his class. He gave a moving speech the week after Sept. 11 on why art does matter, I can't remeber it now but it impacted me at that moment to go on creating.
