he was useless in class never took attendence, didnt know any of our names. if you asked for help you never got a straight answer. I was told to read my manual for my calculator. I did everything right except drop the class I guess that is what you are to do when you are not passing. but then what about your fianancial aide.

HE SUCKS SO BAD!!! MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN MY CLASS WERE 2ND TIME TAKERS TRYING TO GET A HIGHER GRADE, AND WE ALL DROPPED. ONLY 5 PEOPLE ARE STILL IN THE CLASS, AND THEY AREN'T EVEN PASSING! HE'S HORRIBLE. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES.

Very difficult teacher. His methods were different than the ones used in the book,and he seemed irritated when we asked questions about the homework (as if we weren't paying attention during the lecture) HARD GRADER, too. Had him about a year ago...was surprised to see that he's still teaching...Had a terrible experience and whn i went to him for help, he tld me maybe i shd drop the class if i ddn't undrstnd wht he had to say! i was annoyed but still decided to give the guy another chance n i regret it to this day b'cuz i got a D and had to retake the it (got a B+)

I enjoy math, I enjoy learning, and I enjoy challenges. However, Instructor Thomas Woolley squeezed any ounce of fun out of the class. His lectures were often not related to the assigned work nor the tests. As a result the Summer class started approximately 22+ people and was dwindled down to four. Half of those were receiving a D.

No, just no... His lessons just vaugely resemble his test questions. I found the book assignments easier than his tests. The fact that he does not take a homework grade is more of a burden, than a blessing, for there are only six grades averaged into your final grade; that would be, four tests, a midterm, and the final.
