I am a graduated math major student, taking seven Dr. He's course totally. Dr. He always has some deep insight for the course material, which means he follows the textbook but goes much deeper than the context. Dr. He is inspirational not only for classes but for undergrad research. If you were keen to know more math, he will be the right one.

Comment:

Dr. He is the best of the best concerning math professors at IWU. He is very clear about expectations and great at explaining difficult material. His classes are very homework heavy, but he is great about answering questions during class. Tests are long but fair. Always very excited about math and loves what he does. Great sense of humor, too.

You can tell Dr. He knows his stuff, but he is just hard to understand sometimes because of his thick accent. Also, he will get too theoretical when answering a question which can get frustrating. Otherwise he is extremely friendly and adorable

Dr. He is by far my favorite professor at this university. When he is not focusing on adding to his impressive publication list, Dr. He is dedicated to teaching his students and doing whatever it takes to make sure they understand. I have never had a professor here be more enthusiastic in his teaching or dedicated to helping his students.

He is SUPER VAGUE when coming to harder concept. Doesn't really dig into point. When I ask he just beats around the bush, which is really annoying. Start the class and lesson without any explanation. If you are serious with math, he is not a good choice

For a math course, it was definitely the best I had at IWU or anywhere else. Prof. He was extremely helpful and engaging throughout. Math doesn't come easy for me, and I dreaded the course. But the instructor made it tolerable, even enjoyable at times.

Awesome professor! Best in the math department for sure. You can tell he loves the subject material and that he is genuinely concerned with student progress. It takes a week or two to get use to his accent though, and even after that you really can't afford to not pay attention or you'll be lost. Hilarious with his silly sayings

Dr. He is a great professor and clearly loves what he does. I learned a lot about Calculus from him and I look forward to taking more of his classes in the future. However, Dr. He is very tough and if you want an A, your grades need to be top notch. Complete all of the homework, go to the T.A. and to office hours, and study a lot for the exams.

By far the best Professor in the Math Department. He is often hard to understand, and he writes crazily all over the board. Regardless, he is always available for help, and he is fair in the way he grades. He is also really funny. If you're a math major, you really want him for every class.

Great guy. Funny in his own cant-use-american-idioms-very-well way. Very helpful and can almost always answer your question. The class can get boring but it is impossible to do well if you don't pay attention. The homework is easy to do well on but the tests are really hard and take a lot of studying.

Amazing professor!! Math 105 is an easy course- random math concepts that seem pointless- but he presents it all in such an easy way. His tests are easy and he tells you exactly what will be on them. Homework counts for 1/5th of your grade so do it- it will be worth it in the end. Such a funny professor!!
