Comment:

Dr. Forrest is a great professor, you can tell he has been doing this for a long time. He's funny and kind. Cares about his students, wants you to pass and is willing to help you if you are struggling. His class was hard but I enjoyed it, just be ready to actually put the work in, especially for the final project. Don't skip class, you'll be lost.

Forrest is a great professor! He seems to enjoy what he does and he's a compassionate person who cares about his students. BIOL332 does include an invertebrate specimen collection, which entails wading through ponds, so be prepared to get dirty if you take this course! Forrest does his best to make it a great experience, though. Would recommend!

He's honestly one of my favorite bio profs. He is one of those professors who WANTED to become a teacher, and he loves his students. He cares about the class, and listens openly to feedback students give about it. I never do great on his exams (mostly because of the lab portion) but really, really enjoyed it anyways.

Dr. Forrest is an amazing teacher who wants his students to learn, and expects you to work as hard as he does. I am a Bio alum, class of 2010, and Forrest was my advisor. Lets just say, I am now employed as a field biologist for one of the premiere Wildlife Disease Co-ops in the U.S. With this guy in your corner, you will grow as a biologist!

I absolutly loved Forrest! Not only did he seem like a genuine guy, but he has a lot of interest in his feild. very helpful and very clear in what he expects from you. If you go though the study guides well then you can do good on all of his tests.

Has a great sense of humor and you can tell he truly loves bugs. The notes were in power point form but don't rely solely on that; write down most of the explanations and side notes because a lot of it is on the tests. Very approachable and helpful and cares about you if you care about the class.
