What an awful teacher. Feel that I should have been paid for my time, not having to pay to take the damn class. Pretty much a worthless teacher. Wonder who he had to sleep with to get this gig. Don't take anything this man teaches - it will be a waste of your time which is a bummer considering the topic could be really interesting.

Tim Soloman is incredibly nice and passionate about teaching, but not really an intellectual. Islam is a great elective, but as a religious studies major, I found it annoyingly simplistic and easy. Soloman also often appears unprepared for class.

Good class. not many tests. he likes to teach, and has fun doing it. we learn just more than religion in this class. Never do more than what he asks for on essays, he takes off alot of points for that. All in all not to bad. You can skip his classes a few times and miss nothing. But he does keep track of atttendance.
