Nice guy. Basically no lectures just student presentations and watching documentaries. Sometimes we watched documentaries twice because he forgot we already watched it. Seems kind of unorganized but the guy is brilliant. I wish he shared his intelligence with us instead of just having us watch movies.

Tim is a brilliant guy, but his environmental ethics class was unbelievably terrible. I was so excited to take it, too! It is easy, but prepare for lots of tedious lectures. He also spent the first 12 classes teaching us how to use the internet. :(

Awesome. You don't have to go to class. The man may seem extremely boring when talking, but if you just chill out a bit you might learn something. And if not, hey, go on Facebook during class. Not a GPA ruiner by any means. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy class where you might accidently learn something.

Tim can be interesting, but at other times not. The class is really easy and there is not a whole lot of work. Most of the time it is discussion or watching movies. I never even read the assigned books and still managed to do extremely well in the class... He never really talks about the readings.

I loved Tim. He is very quietly spoken but if you go into class wanting to learn and listening, you will love the class. He is so smart and really has alot of information to share. Even though he digresses alot, i never minded. The class is easy too..but enjoyable.

How can you blow $3,000 of your/your parents' money? Take Tim Weiskel's class! Emerson's core "academic" classes are such a joke. I barely did any work in this class and low and behold---an "A" when I checked my grades today. I didn't learn a thing and this was a waste of time. Nice guy though.

The course should be interesting, but with Tim Weiskel, you basically watch movies and listen to him talk (very softly). You really don't have to go or do any of the required reading and he's a pretty easy grader. This is definitely an easy class and will boost your GPA considerably...

Tim is awesome. Speaks softly, but if you listen, he's witty and very intelligent. Doesn't take attendance, but notices if you're not there (guilt trip!). Interesting class, definitely one to use your science requirement on.
