Nice guy but he gets super off topic and makes a LOT of eye contact. Not much participation or assignments. Tests are questions from his study guides. He posts everything online.

Easily the BEST O Chem II lecture professor I have ever had. I don't know why the school doesn't let him teach it during the school year. He understands it's a hard class and that most people are not interested in the subject. Very passionate and knowledgeable. One of the few teachers that still wants you to learn and understand, not memorize.

It's a hard class but he is the best professor I've ever had in that department. He slows it down and lets you use models to help you out. He tries to make it as painless as possible. Not enough professors like him around. He knows it's a hard subject and so he tries to ease it up as much as he can.

I had Laher for Psych. Chem. His class is so easy. If you struggle with chem, I would take Laher. His homework questions are the exact questions on the test. He's a bit goofy, but you don't have to go to class if you keep up with the notes and know what's going on for information for lab. I would take him again.

Honestly, Chem is tough so if you want an EASY A, take Laher. He is super boring, gets off topic, and makes you feel uncomfortable when he makes prolonged eye contact, but his study guides and homework are copy and pasted to his exams.

I had him for Physiological chem, his lectures are extremely boring and you don't really need to attend class. But he is very nice if you have a question he'll try his best to help even if you have lab questions he'll try to answer those for you. As long as you do the homework and learn from that you'll be good in his class.

Really nice guy. I had his Physiological Chem class at 8 am and it sometimes gets a little tiring, but if you take notes on his powerpoints & do the homework you'll score well on the tests. Every test question is in his homework packets.

Overall, ok professor. I did not understand the majority of his lectures, as he goes off on tangents. Makes awkward jokes, but they are hilarious in the context. Tests are based off of the study guide/homework. Provides and answer key to the homework/study guide so you can double check yourself. I would take him again!

Hes a goofy guy and likes to make chemistry jokes during class that are comical at times. But his lectures drag on and lose your attention. He doesnt notice who comes to class or not, but he does notice who seeks help and advice. There's not much homework for grade in his class so do well on the exams.

His lectures are really long, and you don't really learn that much. But its an easy A. The tests are simple and he isn't there to trick you. If you aren't a good test taker you should take him.

Laher isn't the greatest at explaining things. However, if you ask him for help, he will try to explain it to you. He's actually helped me several times with lab questions. His tests are basically the homework/study guide, so as long as you complete that you should do fine on his tests.

He is really confusing in class and you have to teach yourself. If you are able to do this, you'll have no problem. Tests are really easy and go off study guide he gives you. I bought the book and it helped me.

Dr. Laher is a nice man, but he just doesn't teach well. He strays from topic all the time and laughs at his own "jokes" the whole class. I had to teach myself the material and it just wasn't a good class.
