Professor Stafford never gives quizzes. Just 2 tests and a final. He teaches so fast, expecting you to know everything. A math teacher should always give quizzes. I didn't like him. He didn't even offer to help before the final for a review. He sucks!

VERY GOOD TEACHER TAKE HIM. explains everything and helps you in class so yu dont have to waste you time meeting after classes. just pay attention and you will gaurenteely get nothing lower than a B+. weird guy. seems very down-to-earth and nice; wanting to engage the students to be hard-working (of course doesnt work for everyone). Should have done better in his class, b/c it isnt that difficult. But overall, he's decent.

Only has 3 tests... 2 quizzes total. The end result is you have to work hard to keep a good grade. Granted he gives the lowest grade the boot and explains things really well, but I found myself having to work overtime just because of the lack of tests. If you can keep on top of the HW and like colored chalk then please, by all means take him.

Good professor, but he pays a lot of attention on word problems. Final was easy, the midterms were hard but he ended up dropping the lowest grade and doubling the highest... that helped a lot :). Just do the homework and pay A LOT of attention on the word problems and you'll be fine.
