Dr Newman is an ass clown. Be prepared to have to do multiple projects without having learned a damn thing. This man thinks that the students already know how to do a marketing plan, or that we are already PR professionals and press releases are a breeze. At first, he comes off like a hard ass but actually very good teacher. There is a LOT of work to do but I feel he prepares you for the real world. Doing the press conference project was stressful, but a lot of fun. He picks your partner for you and lucky for me I got a good one

Hes a good man. Hes a terrible teacher. He discourages his students from having independent thought, which only makes sense, since NOTHING he teaches you will be his own work. Everything he says is directly from the book. Tests and quizzes are not difficult if you are willing to memorize definitions, even the quizzes are word for word from the book. Follow his directions perfectly for papers. He doesn't teach his class to prepare you for the real world, he teaches it to give you a grade.
