Todd is a very chill and laid back professor. You do have to be interested in the topic to be in that class, but if you do like biology and animal behavior, you will do well in this class. He wants you to pass and makes an effort to reach out if you're struggling. The quizes are annoying, but thats with every class

This was THE WORST CLASS EVER. I couldn't get over his extreme monotone voice throughout the lectures. The content was boring too. I just wanted to fall asleep. He gives a lot of quizzes so be prepared and read!

Dr. Freeberg is a very intelligent man but I did not enjoy him as a professor. Read the book as assigned because he gives quizzes at least once a week, this is crucial to your grade. Exams are all written response so be prepared to write quickly and be VERY DETAILED in your response. He is very nit-picky. Was NOT helpful in office hours.

Reading the textbook is an absolute must because the in class reading quizzes are over the textbook reading. The reading quizzes are a weird format thats kind of like a short essay. The tests are basically all the same format as the reading quizzes (short essay format) and there is like 5 multiple choice. TESTS ARE EXTREMELY HARD.

Worst class I have ever taken at UT. This course is a Psychology and EEB class, however DO NOT take if you are a psychology student. The exams are very challenging and lectures are extremely boring and confusing, especially for psych students. The professor does not clarify material well from the textbook. This class GPA destroyer

2nd worst professor I've had @ UT. Too smart to explain anything. No personality. VERY unorganized. There is no connection between class & text book. He makes this class 1000 times harder than should be. Blames students for not getting it. Active Learning is fun but unhelpful. I studied for 15-25 hrs each test & only got B-. TAKE ANOTHER TEACHER!

From what I can gather, Psych 320 used to be a horrible class. It's now active learning style and was an enjoyable experience. If you're a psych major, though, just take soc psych and L&T because most of the topics in this class were explained better in other ones. Prof is very helpful and listens to students. Easy to make an A with some effort.

This wasn't a bad class at all. It's really interesting material. He doesn't use a textbook but you have to read three regular books. If you go to class and take notes and read the books and answer the questions he posts you should do just fine on the tests. You will have to do some work but an A is possible.

This class was a difficult class for a psychology course. He takes a scientific approach and requires you to remember a lot of studies. I enjoyed the course. I attended class a little more than 1/2 the time and I got an A in the class. I spent a lot of time reading the books. I would recommend attending class especially at the end of the semester.

This teacher was pretty cool but would sometimes lose his train of thought. The tests are really hard. Go to class and take good notes along with reading the articles (which are always long and hard to understand and the book you can probably pass the class.

Loved his class. In order to earn a decent grade you have to attend every class, take great notes, complete the reading questions, and read the assigned scientific article. He has pop quizzes throughout the semester. He's always willing to help and very easy to talk to. He's a funny guy. Really enjoyed his class.

It is a pretty hard class. But if you do homework and go to class and study what he tells you to study, you will do well. He is very helpful and really encouraging and wants his students to do really well! I think he's great!

This was one of the best courses I have taken at UT. No, the class is not a cake walk, but if you want to learn something-this class is for you. Everything is clear cut from the beginning, expectations and grading guidelines both. I asked questions and ALWAYS got help. If you put in the work, you will get the proper grade. Overall-excellent.

Lectures are interesting. Attending class is important in order to do well. I made A's on two of the tests and ended with a B-. Tough teacher, but does give opportunity for extra credit. Tests and quizzes are tough. If he wasn't the only option, I would recommend a different teacher.

Do not take him! I took this class because I thought it would be interesting, he completely ruined my experience. His tests are RIDICULOUSLY hard- the first test 1/2 the class failed and his "attendance" quizzes are also quite difficult. If you don't have to take him then DON"T. Nice guy, horrible, horrible teacher.

One of the worst professors I have encountered here. He grades VERY hard, even according to other professors. I would NOT take this class if you do not have to. He expects you to do read ALOT and KNOW it all in detail. The tests are really hard!
