This is an easy class. He is a lenient grader, he wants you to pass. He is a very funny guy, and always has interesting little anecdotes to add to his lecture. He's awesome, but I stopped going to lecture when he continued to let students waste upwards of 45 minutes of every class adding their comments and trying to be funny. It's a waste of money.

Great teacher. He is pretty goofy and sometimes gets off topic. I had failed ENG 103 three times until I got him as a professor and passed. He provides amazing feedback. Anytime he is an option for a professor you should take it. If you show up and do the homework then there is no way to fail his class.

He goes out of his way to help people that need it. The only professor I've taken that I feel like I can actually talk to about the material. If you go to class, he will make it super easy to get full credit on drafts and exams. He gets off topic easily, but he's actually really hilarious.

I dont think i learned very much in 104 but todd is very helpful and understanding, i did very well on all of my papers. Not too tough of a grader. Would recommend

Show up for his lectures, ask what's going to be on the quiz, and you'll do fine. There's a quiz the last day of each week, so just study for those until you get the study guides. Most of the material is google-able. Get the book if you're trying the absolute A tho.

Mr. West gets off topic very easily. We used the textbook pretty much everyday, but you could definitely get away with the previous edition of the book. The quizzes were pretty easy as long as you review the chapter beforehand. Sometimes the lectures were boring and hard to pay attention to.

I took the 8 week version of the class online. Todd was very helpful when I had a question and responded quickly to my emails. I would not take the 8 week version if you have a busy schedule because he has assignments due every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and sometimes on Friday too.

Yes, Todd does get off topic, but he is a great teacher. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he teaches. He is an easy grader and always willing to help you. I've taken both Humanities 1 and Intro to Fiction with him. His quirky personality always makes class fun.

I had Todd over the summer for Comp 2. I loved Todd. He is a really great person. I took it online but I still went to his office hours for guidance on assignments (which are super easy) but I also liked to chill with him. He really knows his stuff and it is an honor to be in his class. Todd is amazing and he is funny and quirky. Hes baller

I am not quite done with his class yet, but he is a great teacher. Contrary to some of the other comments, he grades very fairly. I am very happy I took him for Comp 2. It is online and there really is a lot of work, but he is very helpful.

I took this class online. It was extremely hard to follow, and he could not clearly answer my questions. I would not recommend taking his course online, especially if it is your first online class. He was a very nice person, but not a good teacher.

Horrible teacher. Can't explain himself when you ask him questions about your papers. He doesn't grade fairly. Annoying to listen to in class. Oh, and if you ever have a class related question his answer will always be look in your book.
