Amazing professor. He is very difficult with the tests..as mentioned by another student..you need to answer the questions on his exams in detail. Keeps the class interesting and has a funny phrase when he discusses the past..."How do I know...I was there." I'm taking him again for Histoy 102..he better give me an A for this rating. LOL

he's a good guy, tho u need to be very serious for the class (participation, hw, note taking heavily required). his tests are purely from his notes, they're essay, and u need to be THOROUGH as hell. but he's fair and always willing to help you.. my hand hurts tho..

Not a bad professor. Was a great guy. Tests were damn hard! Alot of writing. The way he taught the class was great. Was always interested, but to much note taking. Could sometimes be redundent. Not a bad person, could have been better.

Tom is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and his class is one of the best I have ever taken. I usually hate lecture classes, but he makes knows how to make it interesting. Tests are easy and right from the notes. If you miss class or don't take good notes, the tests will be much harder.

He's a cool, funny guy. His tests are straight from the notes. This class is not for slackers. If you are lazy do not take this class. He knows his stuff. I find history EXTREMELY boring but he made it fun. Serious students will enjoy this class.

This guy doesn't care if you pass or fail. If you get a grade lower than he expects, he simply suggests that you drop the course. His jokes (he uses the same ones every day) are corny and his style of teaching is boring. Tests are hard and your studying most likely won't pay off.

With a good sence of humor, Tom is a great teacher to have. His tests are hard if you do not study, but his offices are always open to help you. I advice everyone to take a class with him, because he has a great sence of humor and uses different methods of expaining his material.
